Karoliina Vesa

I am a lawyer specialising in data protection, data and technology law. I advise Fondia's clients on day-to-day data protection issues and the compliant use of data and technologies. I also have experience advising on EU data and digital regulation.

My background is in consulting and advocacy, where I have assisted a wide range of private and public sector clients with data protection implementation, development and product development projects. I have worked as an outsourced data protection lawyer for a public sector organisation and have been secondment to technology companies where I acted as in-house counsel supporting client businesses from a data protection perspective. I have also worked for a public authority in a national supervisory role for data and digital regulation.

I am a member of the IT Law Association and the IAPP and hold a CIPP/E certificate.

My hobbies include dancing, tennis and gym, and I spend a lot of time with my little dog and my loved ones.
