Mikko Laitinen
I work as a Senior Legal Counsel and have over 15 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of legal matters. My core expertise includes company law, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, sustainability matters and commercial contracts.
I advise both listed and privately held companies – from large international financial institutions to start-ups – often in assignments that require broad legal insight and the ability to connect perspectives across different areas of law.
Before joining Fondia, I worked for 10 years as an Attorney-at-Law and also gained experience in banking-related legal matters while working at an international financial institution.
I also have extensive experience in large-scale damages litigation, including cases related to service contracts, cartels and abuse of dominant market position. I also have prepared the legal groundwork for over 50 general meetings of listed companies and regularly serve as chair or secretary at our clients’ shareholder meetings.
